TEDxLIU is an independently organized annual TEDx event hosted at Long Island University. Yes, TEDxLIU operates under an official TEDx license. However, like all TEDx events, it is independently organized and run by a team of students, faculty members, and staff at Long Island University. 

Yes, anyone can attend TEDxLIU events. 

However, advance tickets are required to attend events.

Tickets are free of cost, courtesy of Long Island University.

Occupancy is limited, so attendees are encouraged to register early.

Most TEDx talks are designed to be less than 18 minutes. At TEDxLIU, you'll find talks ranging from 5 to 15 minutes long, allowing speakers to present a powerful idea in a concise and engaging format.

Yes, TEDxLIU will feature a 30-minute networking break, with complimentary refreshments and beverages.

Yes. All talks will be recorded so that the ideas shared at TEDxLIU can reach audiences beyond the live event. Unfortunately, the event will not be livestreamed.
